The Ultra Thin Night Guard is recommended for folks who grind or clench their teeth during the day. It's our thinnest guard (about 0.8mm in thickness), and is designed to be less noticeable and allow you to speak normally. The thin yet hard and rigid material offers plenty of protection and is perfect if you often catch yourself grinding or clenching during the day.
I bought this mouth guard when I had lost my much more expensive dentist issued piece. Before the ChomperLabs order arrived, I found the other mouthguard but figured it wouldn't hurt to have an extra on hand just in case another instance occurred where the expensive dentist issued piece was lost. As it turns out, I like the ChomperLabs guard MUCH better and it is now my primary piece while the more expensive piece from my dentist is the "extra" guard. It is comfortable to wear while both sleeping and being active during the day.

Great guard. Fits securely, and is thick to protect the bottoms of my teeth from grinding. Hardly noticeable :)

United StatesI love this product, but I wish the replacements weren't so wildly expensive. The original cast and mouth guard was about $160 (very reasonable) and subsequent replacements are $120 (quite expensive). I haven't developed a good system for keeping track of the guard when I remove it to eat or drink, and unfortunately I lost my original and then my replacement within about 3 months. Obviously this is my problem, not Chomper Lab's problem. However, the replacements are so expensive that I can't afford another one. It's too bad because this is basically the only thing that helps me get my cheek and nail biting issue under control. I had a lower jaw guard and it fit really well, did not get in the way of my tongue or interrupt my speech at all. It provided enough of a barrier that I couldn't subconsciously bite my inner cheek and I was unable to bite my nails when it was in my mouth.
United StatesI’ve tried thicker night guards and felt they off set my jaw while I slept. They were uncomfortable. This night guard is super comfortable and doesn’t off set my jaw. I wear it during the day on days I feel myself clenching more and I’m still able to talk with no issue. It is a little tight on my lower teeth, considering my teeth aren’t completely straight It get strange, but I got use to it. There is little cushion, so I’m concerned it may wear down sooner then later, but it does the job in preventing any further damage on my teeth from clenching and grinding.

Thank you @Chomperlabs for the perfectly fitting Night Guard. The Daytime Guard fit perfectly as well. Sometimes I forget I'm even wearing the Night Guard, because it's so comfortable and just thin enough, & not too bulky within my mouth. I can speak clearly with it and others don't even know I have a mouth guard on. Excellent service & product.
