If you need a retainer but also grind or clench your teeth, this one's for you. The Retainer keeps your teeth in place and prevents them from shifting over time but also protects them from your grinding or clenching. It's made from a unique, slightly denser material than the Hard night guard and is offered in two variants:

In fact, we go the extra mile (and cost), to source and import our materials from Germany since EU consumer and product safety standards are higher there than in the US.
Our commitment to quality extends to the way we make your night guard.
We start by 3D scanning your impression - accurate to 4 microns - carefully mapping out your dentition for the best fit. Our certified lab technician then skillfully fabricates your night guard by hand. We consider every facet, contour every edge, and polish every surface. Oh, and we do this all right at home in California (not in an outsourced factory somewhere - ahem we won't name names).
So, it's both art and science. The best of old school craftsmanship and new school innovation.
The Retainer is our standard ultra-clear retainer. It's 1mm thin and perfect if you simply need a retainer to prevent your teeth from shifting. The Retainer Night Guard is slightly thicker (1.5mm), and made out of a more durable material designed to also withstand grinding or clenching. This is a great option if you're looking for a Retainer but also grind or clench your teeth.
You can generally expect your custom made retainer night guard to land on your doorstep about a week or so after we receive your impression.
As it's hand made, we take about 2-3 business days to create your night guard and another 3-4 days for shipping. Shipping is free all 3 ways but if you'd like to speed things up, there are faster shipping options at checkout or you can take advantage of the Fast Track option, where we can turnaround your night guard within 24 hours. Please expect minor delays during peak holiday times.
After searching soooo many places for something that will keep my teeth in place and will also help the teeth grinding, i ran into this place. My impression kit came in pretty quickly and it was very easy to use. Unfortunately, I didn’t follow their instructions correctly and I messed that one up (completely my fault, their instructions are very easy). I sent them a picture to see if they could still use it ,which they couldn’t but they sent me a new kit immediately. I sat on it for a while and completely forgot about it for months. I finally did it, sent them the new kit back and had my new retainers within that week! They were extremely friendly and I would recommend them to anyone! Saves me a trip to the dentist and it’s less than half of their cost.

I have severe TMJ disorder ( i grind my teeth and it sounds like a wood chipper) to the point where I cracked a molar and had to have a root canal. I would wake up, my mouth would be so sore, painful, I would have headaches, etc etc, you get the point. I had been to my primary dentist and was told that night guards would not fix my TMJ and I would need plastic surgery to realign my jaw. I saw a dental plastic surgeon for giggles and I was quoted 2k even with a referral! my insurance wouldn't cover it, since it is "not necessary " and considered cosmetic. Need less to say, I turned to the internet. I found Chomper Labs, read probably 50 reviews before ordering a upper night guard. This crew has been so nice and patient with me, as my teeth are nearly ground down and had to send in 3 different impressions cause I was struggling to fit the putty. I do not regret my decision to go with chomper labs AT ALL. They have saved my teeth and saved me hundreds of dollars!! you have a lifelong customer out of me!!!!!!!

Having two porcelain top front teeth, I’m always weary about anything going on or near my teeth. After having worn a bottom guard for several years, my TMJ was unmanageable. I was told to try an upper guard, so I did! I am so happy I did. My lower jaw does not hurt anywhere near as much as before, and the tightness (scary at first) has not pulled my two front teeth out! I am happy with the quality of Chomper Labs!

Most seemed to be too big and uncomfortable. I wanted a strong, well formed retainer that would still allow me to get a good sleep. United StatesThe problem is I tried and failed 2 or 3 times to take a usable impression. The result is the night guard is 1 tooth too short on each side. Is usable, but not what I wanted. Other then that it seems to work and is comfortable Maybe next time I'll get it right
United StatesI got the hybrid night guard and it has been everything I hoped! Both top and bottom fit perfectly and Chomper Labs gave me a free 2nd attempt at molding when my first attempt didn't come out ideally. I have now had the top guard for about 2 years and it is still in great shape despite my night grinding. Highly recommend.

United StatesI didn't think I needed a night guard but thought I'd try this one since it was way cheaper than what my dentist was quoting me. Turns out I really did need it! I can see the grind marks on the guard and am so happy I have it to protect my teeth from now on. I also got the retainer version and an pleased with how well it's kept my teeth, just as good as my old retainer. I love it. It's also great that it's clear, so it looks way better than my old retainer too and feels like it's made of quality material. It took me two tries to get the imprint right but great customer service and was really happy with the result.
